Fire Police

The Hyde Volunteer Fire Company Fire Police provide traffic and crowd control services to the fire company in the event of fires, accidents, and other issues of public safety.


The Fire Police also help with Parades and Community Events when asked and available to do so. Requests for Fire Police at an event must be submitted at least two weeks in advance by writing and either emailed to: firepolice@hydefire.org or mailed to:

The request must come from the organizer and include contact information, dates, times, number of fire police requested, and services requested. The most common request of Fire Police at events is to park cars. We do not guarantee we can and will accept all events, but will make good effort to.


Donation checks for Fire Police may be made out to Hyde Volunteer Fire Company with a note of Fire Police.
